Pathways Vermont Training Institute is contracted with DMH (Vermont’s Department of Mental Health) to design, deliver, and maintain the Training Program for Certification of Adult Mental Health Peer Support Providers. This program trains individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges and/or trauma to become Certified Peer Support Providers (CPSPs); additionally, the program will provide continuing education for CPSPs to sustain skills following certification. Pathways Vermont Training Institute aims to offer high-quality, values-aligned training for peer support providers throughout the state. To support this work, our Advisory Committee will meet quarterly to provide feedback, recommendations, and guidance on improving training and evaluation methods. This advisory committee will be composed of CPSPs, service participants, employers, and other relevant parties.
