About the Training Center
In 2025, Pathways Vermont Training Institute was contracted by VT’s Department of Mental Health to “design, deliver, and maintain the Training Program for Certification of Adult Mental Health Peer Support Providers.” To achieve this, we established the VT Peer Certification Training Center. As contracted, the Training Center will provide the training to become a Certified Peer Support Provider (CPSP), conduct eligibility applications, ensure information is available to the public, evaluate trainings, and collaborate with the VT Peer Credentialing Center, which is managed by The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery.
The Training Center deeply recognizes the value of peer support workers throughout Vermont who are not Certified Peer Support Providers. Click here for more information about our recognition of the longstanding work of peer supporters throughout Vermont.
