This training is required for individuals seeking Alternative Credentialing to be licensed as a Certified Peer Support Provider in Vermont. It offers a deep dive into the Vermont Code of Ethics for Certified Peer Support Providers. Participants will explore how to navigate ethical dilemmas, uphold confidentiality, set and maintain healthy boundaries, and apply the ten ethical principles that guide ethical peer support practice. Through real-life scenarios, reflective questions, and interactive discussions, participants will build the skills and confidence needed to uphold the integrity of peer support in a way that meets Vermont’s credentialing and certification standards.
This training is offered virtually in four sessions, scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, March 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th. Participants must attend all days to complete the course.
Completion of an Intentional Peer Support Core Training is a prerequisite for this training.
