Ken Johnson
Ken is the Program Coordinator of Peer Support Services at Howard Center. For more than a decade Ken has been involved in Peer Support Services in both the mental health and substance use realms. He has also had vast experience working in clinical settings bridging the gaps between Peer and Clinical ideologies. Ken continues to make efforts to advocate and educate for the overwhelming need of Peer Supports and the working well-being for the Peer Specialist’s doing the work in the Designated Agency Systems and beyond. Ken’s passion is fueled by lived experience from multiple psychiatric hospitalizations and mental health systems and the belief that the systems that provide that care should never determine your future.
