Katie Wilson is the Chief Operations Officer at the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery, where she has spent more than a decade supporting systems and organizations in implementing evidence-based peer group models and wellness programs. Katie directs the Vermont Peer Credentialing Center, the nation’s first peer-run credentialing program for peer support providers. She leads statewide efforts to strengthen the peer workforce and ensure that certification pathways remain rooted in peer values and lived experience. Additionally, Katie produces Doors to Wellbeing’s monthly Peer Specialist Webinar Series, reaching more than 30,000 peers annually. A sought-after trainer and speaker, Katie has presented at Peerpocalypse, the Vermont Department of Mental Health Conference, Peerpalooza, N.A.P.S., the Peer Support Coalition of Pennsylvania Conference, and the NYC Conference for Working Peer Specialists. She holds a BA from Bennington College and a master’s degree from New York University. Katie lives in southern Vermont with her spouse, kid, and two unruly cats.
