Jessica Hodder

Jessica currently works with Pathways Vermont as the Program Manager for Rosewood Cottage and has been with the peer respite since its inception. Before joining Pathways Vermont, Jessica held peer specialist roles at Designated Agencies within the state. Recognizing the lack of access to spaces that meet our relational, communal, environmental, and spiritual needs as humans, Jessica set out to build them. She previously served as the Project Coordinator for Interlude, a peer support pilot that grew into Addison County's Mental Health Urgent Care. Jessica's passion for creating crisis alternatives was born out of firsthand encounters with the traditional system of care and realizing expanded understandings of mental health beyond the Western paradigm of diagnosis and pathology. Outside of this work, she enjoys exploring the natural world and creating beauty and home life with her cat.
