hannah sorila
hannah sorila (she/they) is committed to learning and living through the praxis of mad liberation, abolition, decolonization, queer expansiveness, and disability justice. hannah has worked in global education, youth development, survivor support, nonprofit operations, and as a freelance writer, with a focus on advocating for paradigm shifts arced towards collective liberation, community care, and decolonize futures. Through her role with MadFreedom Advocates, she's had the pleasure of connecting with the mad community in Vermont through various efforts, including Vermont Mad Pride 2025. Outside of their professional work, hannah is a community organizer within their local Brattleboro community, where they support mutual aid and collective care, through sharing KN95 masks, offering peer support, and beyond!
