Cove Nichols
Contract Trainer

My name is Cove M Nichols and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I am the Residential Coordinator for Woodstock TCR, part of Healthcare & Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS). I have worked as a peer support advocate from 2010 – 2021 in various capacities in both NH and VT. I took my Intentional Peer Support 5 day Core training in 2011 with Chris Hansen and I started out facilitating quarterly 3 hour co-reflections at different NH Peer Support Agencies for a couple years. I took the Intentional Peer Support Train the Trainer training in 2019 and became a Vermont State IPS Trainer in 2020 and have been co-facilitating IPS One Day Overviews, 5 day Core trainings and 3 day Advanced IPS trainings, both at HCRS and via contract with Pathways Vermont Training Institute. Outside of work, I am currently in school earning my Bachelors in Psychology; I am trying to get through my massive book TBR list, I love to junk journal and watch Bob’s Burgers and Law & Order: SVU with my 2 dogs and 2 cats whenever I can. I am also on the Board of Directors for Thrive in Ascutney VT, which is a non-profit organization supporting adults and kids with vouchers for clothing via their thrift store. We are a baby 501 c3 and are looking forward to 2026 and offering workshops, classes, free meals, food pantry, etc.
